If you're looking for delicious no-fuss Tex-Mex at a reasonable price then El Torito is for you. The complimentary chips and salsa were quite tasty.
I ordered the #2 combo platter with green Chile chicken and shredded beef with red sauce enchiladas. The meatball soup that came with the combo was full of tasty meatballs. The enchiladas were really good.
I also had two frozen margaritas (Patron and Don Julio Margaritas are both under $10 and are FANTASTIC).
4.4/5 stars, my favorite Tex Mex in LV.

This was one our favorite mom & pop's when we lived in Vegas. It's been there for a long time. Food is still great but I agree with many other reviews that the service was slow and lackluster. I know times are hard for these types of businesses but it didn't seem too busy to get better service. Go for the food and try the green chili. Wife loves the soup.

Nice out of the way place with fun decor. The chips are homemade. The first salsa they served us was more like marinara sauce than salsa, hardly any spice at all, no peppers or onions, etc. We asked for some Tapatio and some hotter salsa, and both were served to us. We ordered a green chile pork burrito and a carnitas chimichanga. The green chile pork burrito was good, but it didn't have much meat at all. The carnitas chimichanga was excellent, very tasty. The service was good. Plenty of parking. Large indoor dining area. No lunch menu.

Steak fajitas were tasty. Food was fresh and salsa was homemade and moderately spicy. They bring the platter of food still sizzling on a cast iron plate as seen on photo. A bit pricy vs same fare in Georgia, but it seems everything is 50 -60% more expensive in the West vs. the South. Quality was very good.

The food was good and I liked the vibe and setting of the restaurant. Portion size was also good and the quality was overall good. Although I have had better beef chimichangas, it was still delicious. Best part of the dining experience was the great customer service!
