Mr. Leavitt recently represented me when I encountered some unexpected legal trouble. It was very scary and I had no idea what to expect, but he was with me every step of the way. He kept me fully informed as to what was happening, and every time I reached out he responded promptly. The outcome of my case was more favorable than I could have ever expected and if I ever am in need of legal counsel again James Dean Leavitt will be the first person I call.

James has been a godsend to my boyfriend and I. He had a serious criminal charge pending against him, and was incarcerated for three months over some pretty absurd charges. My boyfriend is a really great guy who had zero criminal history in his background, who unfortunately found himself in an unlikely situation at this point in his life. James was able to negotiate and not only get the charge dropped, but was also able to get him house arrest when every other attorney there was no way he would receive house arrest. I would highly recommend James to anyone in need of legal counsel. We cannot thank him enough.

James Dean saved me at 1:00am in the morning. My mother was able to reach him and he came to the scene where myself and several other juveniles were about to be arrested for possession of drugs. Fortunately, he knew the arresting officer and was able to persuade him to release me to him without being arrested or charged with a crime. I still can't believe that an attorney would do that late at night on a weekend. Needless to say I refer all my friends to him.

When he was hired by my parents, he refused to visit me in jail because "it was dirty, and it smelled." He allowed detectives to question me without his presence.. which I refused to do, putting me in a position to exchange some unkind words because I was being bullied. He is Morman and so were my prosecutors... what we didnt know YET.. was that he played golf with them over the weekends. When I had been temporarily released, I had an appointment with him on a Monday afternoon, where he stated, "I'm surprised to see you in my office today." I ask why, confused... which he replied, "Well, during a golf game this weekend, the prosecutors told me they were remanding you back into custody, I figured you would've been picked up by now." (THANKS FOR THE HEADS-UP)
He also told his prosecutor best buddies, he would try to get me to admit fault because he knew I was guilty. Which, I was NOT. I called him from jail and demanded he visit me, where I made an expensive, but the best decision ever. "You're fired."
