I was questioned by unemployment for failure to properly report my income. I was given sound advice to properly prepare and communicate with the Judge. The case was dismissed and deemed as a mistake with no intent to commit fraud. The Legal Aid Center recommended that I offered to pay back any overage of funds to which I complied. I'm so thankful for the Legal Aid Center and appreciate that they were there for me in my time of need.
This place has a staff member that is very fraud and discriminatory towards Black elderly women. Tina Rentzios. She is not for the Black community. She has poorly misconstrue a mother who was in need of some sort of aide to have her child get assistance. She is not an attorney, and has black-balled my mother in court. Do not trust this agency with your disabled children or your adult disabled person. They will not help you, knowingly a person may be low income and cannot afford his or her own attorney. This person, acts in an abuse of authority and is abusing her powers and has countless times, defamation of character of my mother in court and has slander my mother. There is a disabled adult person who is trying to be independent while living in a group home under Desert Regional Center in Nevada, clearly there is some ways to grow and go for the person to becoming strong in her in-dependency self, but she is still required some guardianship. The agency wants for disabled adult to be her own guardian, but no, it'll be awhile until that is very much so achieved. This person, Tina, slander my mother, who was only trying to protect her disabled child and wants for her child to experience growth through the desert regional center. Not forced isolation. My mother nor family has ever been able to get a hold to contacting or communicating with said disabled relative. There is a sense of discrimination towards Black and elderly women. Shame on You and your illegal practices.
