If they had negative reviews I would give them. I called for appointment about a month ago and I asked if they accept my insurance.they said yes this is the day before my appointment and I spoke to Mr. Lok himself he mentioned to me if you want to use your insurance call tomorrow early and give your insurance information so before your appointment your insurance will be verified. I had 11:00AM appointment so I called them around7:30 in morning figuring it is enough time to verify. When I called his office they told me sorry we are short handed and we cannot verify your insurance you pay the full amount and when we verify your insurance we will reimburse you.so I ask how much is the fee they said $135.00. I paid the amount and the Theropy did do anything for me. After 10 days I call them to see if they had verified my insurance they said we haven’t done it yet. It is over a month and I still did not hear from them. They are cropped and Doing bad business. I don’t recommend them to anyone.
I haven’t seen the Acupuncturist, because the stuff wasn’t nice and helpful. I call to get an appt, it was nice to talk to a guy I think that was the acupuncturist. But I didn’t realize I have already an appt on my calendar, so I called them back to re-schedule my appointment and there was a lady who answered me, when I said I want to re-scheduled my appt on a certain date she start giving me an attitude on the the phone saying there were fully book and because I’m first time it may took a while, and I have to wait 2 wks because they only accept first time client on a certain days. So it’s okay to book and wait for 2 weeks. when 2 weeks come and I went to the office, And they told they can’t put me in because I wasn’t on a schedule and have to wait onother week to come back. What does it mean, I just showed up there wasting my time for no reason? Learn a lesson follow up your appointment to make sure they put you on their schedule, because they won’t do it if they don’t like you. I hope The Acupunturist read this and question your people how they talk to client, poor customer service.
After 45 minutes of waiting, I decided to get the money back and leave due to the rudeness of the front staff. Perhaps they were over worked, but it doesn’t give them the permission to be discourteous and unpleasant. The Clinic should be a place where people get help and find relief, not to be mistreated. l would absolutely give zero stars if I could!!
I went here for Anxiety. I heard such great things about acupuncture really helping. The female assistants are really nice and make sure you're comfortable. The doctor comes in and is friendly but kinda makes you feel bad about yourself, unknowing? I let me him know about my anxiety and he just pushed it off like it was not a big deal. I was truly suffering if I was coming to his office to have needles stuck in my skin. The techs adjust the electrodes so they're not irritating and then leave you to relax. The doctor will peek in to add more needles and that would be the last time you see him. He inserts needles and disappears lol. I left confused because I wasn't sure how long I was supposed to do this. They just kept booking weekly appointments. Guess until I feel like it was working? Well I stopped going after 4 sessions. I saw the bruising all over my skin and it made my anxiety worse. Then the soreness in certain areas like my head from the needles that went there. I was done... it was making me feel worse... But I tried it at least..
