This place was better than the Bellagion Fine Arts Museum, and $5 less per person. If you are going to spend any time on Fremont Street, this is a must visit. The art is some of the best representation of modern art I have seen in a while. It is a laid back place, where anyone can get a respite from all of the Vegas activity just outside.
While we were there, we got to meet one of the artists who has several of his pieces displayed there - David Jenkins. Just like the museum itself, David was so down to earth, and just an overall great guy. Real refreshing.
We have put this place on our list of places that we MUST visit for any upcoming Las Vegas trips. Do not miss it!

Was closed when we attempted to go there. Was well within hours of operation. Was our main reason for going to Freemont St. We still had a good time walking around.

This is a fantastic museum that features great artists with truly fine as well as unique pieces. All of the staff there are very kind, intelligent and they also have great taste in art. Mark, their director, is living art history having assisted many of the 20th century's best artists with printing. His knowledge and expertise is second to none. The location of the gallery is right in the heart of the Fremont district with lots of other things to do as well. The Metropolitan Museum is a must see for any fellow artists or art admirers when in Vegas.

The most sophisticated display of an eclectic collection of work. The building is layed out to display visual beauty and interesting pieces that make it fun, educational, and sensory stimulating as you walk through. There is something for everyone.
