Great location just at the beginning of Fremont Street experience. Smaller casino than other properties in the area, but nice slots and quite a bit of table games, with some low-minimum tables as well. Rooms are clean, spacious and modern, we had a quiet room with mountain view, which was perfect and a little room upgrade because we mentioned we were to get married in Las Vegas. Staff very helpful and nice, bell service efficient and nice. Good prices for stays within the week. Parking is free for hotel guests.

Stayed here for my wife's birthday. The place is under remodel so there was some noise and dust. The people were incredibly friendly and easily accessed the rest of the Fremont experience. We were upgraded to one of their newly remodeled rooms. The walk-in shower was nice as was the tile floor but the beds were pretty hard and uncomfortable. The casino floor was fun and the restaurant selection was decent. The pool and tennis courts are elevated on the third floor. That was pretty cool as well.

I haven't been downtown in years, but wow! The Plaza looked good. It was a busy Saturday night and we went to see a comedy show. Great fun. The people were great. My only negatives were the price of our cocktails... $15 for a small drink in plastic cup with well liquor and the waitress took our $35 and didn't ask if we wanted change. She took the money and said thank you and quickly walked away. Probably would have given her the change anyway but come on.... So we didn't order any additional drinks.

Best location if you are wanting to stay nearby Fremont st. The hotel was under renovation at the time of our stay and I was secretly hoping that we would be upgraded to a newer room, similar to how some of the other reviews had been upgraded but we weren't. Despite this, we found the room that we were allocated to be large and comfortable. The check in desk has been temporarily moved from the front entrance to the back of the casino floor and there are signs to point you in the right direction. The person who checked us in was friendly and asked about our preferences for our room. There are two towers: North tower and South tower. It was explained that the North tower has easier access to the hotel entrance and can have views down to Fremont st. The shortcoming of this is that if your room faces Fremont st, you can hear the Fremont st noise late into the night. The South Tower is located away from Fremont st meaning it is quieter at night time and is easier to access the pool. The shortcoming here is that you need to walk through the casino floor in order to get to the hotel entrance and exit. Given we are heavy sleepers we chose the North Tower and had good views over Fremont st. It is true that you can hear the noise of Fremont st late into the night, so if you are a light sleeper you should request a room in the South Tower. Though our room was not one of the recently renovated room types, we found that it was very large and more than comfortable for our one night stay. The bed was large and comfortable, bathroom was clean and I appreciated the mini fridge where we could store personal water bottles etc. Parking was easy to access from Main st and as a hotel guest, you get in and out privileges. There are a few dining options in the hotel from a sit down restaurant to fast food options and of course there is a large casino floor. The main reason we chose to stay here was the location. It was the most ideal hotel to stay to access Fremont st and the price was right. Overall, we had a great stay here. We found the room to be large and comfortable, and the location was perfect. Will be staying again next time we are in town.

Our first stay at the Plaza in 10 years, we had a wonderful time. The staff from check in till when we left were outstanding. We own a condo on the strip and wish our house keeping staff and desk staff were half as good. I am thinking at the next owners meeting to see if we can get our supervisors to go here for training. The Hash House food was outstanding and Popup Pizza was great. The kindness and hospitality of the Hash House staff was wonderful Tiffany our waitress was the kindness person I have met in a long time and how she dealt with a thirsty handicap person while she was busy was outstanding. The bartenders were wonderful people as they always were able to get our ballgame on even when Williams Hill wouldn't. The dealers were also very welcoming warm and friendly. My wife and I are looking forward to the next time we can get away and stay at the Plaza as this looks to be our new go to hotel in Vegas. Thank you Tessie for your time and help also looking forward to seeing you again.
