The park itself is great. Big, clean, trash bins, benches, trees, shaded areas, ball courts, skate park, water fountains and free doggie bag stations everywhere. There are different sections for dog sizes at the dog run but when we were there that was being ignored. Also the small dog section closest to parking people are not cleaning up after their dogs as there was a lot of huge land mines on the ground. We went at night the first time and couldn't use the dog runs because there was no lighting and it was too dark. When we go there again we will just walk the paths in the park, which are lovely with a great view of the city in certain sections.

I've been to this park since I was a kid and I worked here at 17. Im 32 now and it couldn't look any better. I worked here as security (taking care of grass area of the back side when it was first installed) before they build the memorial. This is where I became interested in canines. I met so many great people and dogs here. I hope I can bump into some of them when I come back.

My 4 legged kids love the park. They see there friends everyday and play hard, that's the highlight of there day. The park is clean and well taken care of thanks to the park people that keep it that way. Thank you. ❤

Legit skate park.
Not much for shade, though.
Be warned, there is a pickle ball court next to the skate park...and you know how gangsta those pickle ballers can get.

Great park with lots of walking trails, two different sized playground sets, pickleball, basketball, and tennis courts and an awesome skate park. Love that the park has sand!
