Yesterday we arrived at the ER and 35 hours later we are still here some of the people are helping but more people are not helping than the ones that are it’s funny they keep saying they don’t have a bed upstairs so we have been here in MED 11 all this time she checked in Saturday at about 2:30pm and now it’s 8:48 pm Sunday and we are still sitting here the night nurse brought her a regular hospital bed Thank a million but other than that this is a joke I ask her to come her because they normally find out what’s wrong they told us the problem but still no Rooms available, next time we will go to Mountain View even though they are slow they will have a bed for her to be in , I’ve been dealing with people in the medical field since 2005 and I have come to realize that most hospitals Dr office , and any other medical office's are ran strictly by the nurses not by the Doctor’s not by upper management so the Nurses do as they please and no one does any thing to fix the problems and it keeps going on an on until someone dies and then the medical staff lies and gets out of it , This hospital at one time was the best place to come to back when I first moved here 30 years ago

DO NOT give birth here horrible place to be the white nurses were horrendous one nurse said I was dilated to a 9 then another came in and said I was a 4 maybe 5!! So I got my epidural extremely early. One lady said if my boyfriend didn’t make here by 7 he wouldn’t be able to be with me while I was having my baby so I would be alone although the people downstairs said he could arrive whenever and he did. Just horrible the way they treat women and they ARE women. Do better

These people just let anyone in to see your loved one. Despite my warnings, showing of police reports, they let my mother's abuser into her room to watch her die, then let him take her belongings without question. He even sent me a photo of her body just to laugh. I was out of state and helpless. It's been a month and "risk management" doesn't answer the phone, I've been trying to get her phone, purse with my daughter's photos, and everything else while trying to get this man out of her house because they let him just take her keys. I can't even go into the pain the family is in right now.

My mom had spine surgery nine months ago and the male Filipino nurse that my mom had very disrespectful and rude towards my mom. I was their in the morning to visit my mom to find her room a completely dark her blankets that she had on where not clean and freshly given to her and the nurses for that shift where not attending to my mom at all and my mom had literally had open spine surgery and the rude Filipino nurse that was their in the morning was screaming and being abusive towards my mom when in fact she was a patient their who was freshly out of surgery and to top it the circular device that was attached to her spine a part of it that help the blood drain came off and my mom simply needed help re connecting it and he came in screaming at my mom and my mom was in a lot of pain and was very worried. And the nurses who came on the later shift never really attended to my mom during her stay as a spinal surgery patient . To say the least the nurses where rude and disrespectful and at times abusive. I'll tell you what they really need to separate the school from the real hospital period and the on pediatric ward is no better I still remember what they put my son threw their I Do Not recommend this hospital at all till they separate the school from The real hospital period the patients deserve to be treated with respect and dignity and compassion period and I do not appreciate how my mom was disrespected and abused by the nurses that was supposed to offer pain relief and comfort during this trial in her life and they way they treated my son as well . They have a lot of fixing to do . Separate the school from the real hospital.

I really liked my doctor and nurse however, I have had the absolute worst billing experience in my life with UMC. I was told 2 times not to pay an invoice and they would re-bill my insurance company. I received a collections letter today. I spent 2 plus hours on the phone holding for help and was disconnected 3 times. I finally spoke with a real person who tried to help and she could not. She transferred me and once again disconnected. HORRIBLE! Never going back.
