Everything seemed organized until the day of our ceremony. Our limo driver called to say he would be there to pick us up at 12:15 instead of 12 so we didn’t have to wait too long at the chapel, which was fine with me until I walked in the side door (where you’re supposed to be able to get into the elevator so your guests won’t see you) and all of my guests were in the lobby and saw me because we were needed at the desk. This was disappointing because I wanted everyone to see me for the first time when I entered the chapel. Also, our coordinator that we worked with the entire time wasn’t there the day of and we ended up getting someone else which was disappointing because we were given no heads up about it. The woman who was helping us sat down with us to go over information that we had to go to the venue in person the day prior which was fine but I think this could have been skipped if our original coordinator was present or if the communication was better. Then we have Elvis, before our ceremony started, he sat us down to chat, which again, is fine, except he was sure to bring up our tipping him before the ceremony even started. I’d already received multiple documents with suggested tipping amounts for him and our limo driver and had planned tip both of them and our photographer (his suggested tips were much higher and I thought it was a little tacky that he brought it up before the ceremony even started). He completely forgot to have us kiss during our ceremony which confused us and everyone else waiting to take photos. (I paid for a media package so that our friends and family could take photos and they all commented that he was in the way so much that it was hard to get photos.) At the end of the ceremony, I requested to take a minute to pin up the bustle on my dress so that it wasn’t being stepped on by everyone while we were taking photos, our coordinator first didn’t know what a bustle was and then seemed very annoyed that I asked for the time to pin it up. Luckily, our photographer was great, he was very sweet and accommodating. Overall, we had a good time and so did our guests but there was definite room for improvement in a few areas especially since we paid over $1,000 to be there for about 45 minutes.
We had a fantastic little ceremony with a full photo and video package. Hair and Makeup was included and that went very well too! Vegas Weddings does all of the work for you and they are so easy to work with. We got our marriage license, Photos, and Video all in less than one week and planning this from a distance was simple and stress free. We had about 15 people with us including the wedding party, limos included for bridal party, really can't say enough about how easy it was. We made several changes a few months before the wedding because our guest count dropped drastically and the planners got changes and quotes back to us with in 24 hours every time. We used the Terrace Gazebo at night and it was beautiful. We also had dozens of online viewers who said the live footage was perfect. Thank You Vegas Weddings!!
