Sink had been leaking for months. Got tired of putting pans under the sink to catch the dripping water. Ivo from a Yes Plumbing took care of us and showed us the food that had built up over years in the pipes causing the leak. Great service quick and to the point, no up selling or funny business. They even wore booties on their feet👏 Paid $280 out the door.
Had new ac installed, gave us a top of the line Carrier brand 5 ton for about 3k cheaper than goettl's version of a goodman that has a goettle sticker placed on. (since it was goodman idk why they were upcharging so much) They started early morning about 7 or 8 and were finished and testing unit by around 11-noon. Fast courteous and didnt mind that I was getting estimates from other companies when I had them come to give me theirs. Even offered financing options. And gave me a top tier google nest thermostat at no additional charge. I did my research and carrier and lenix are some of the best acs you can get, goodman are the cheapest and work but tend to break down more often.
I am extremely disappointed with this company's maintenance of my air condition system at my house. They were more interested in the fact I am a senior single female, and wanting to sell me a brand new system for $16,960!!! I contacted my home warranty people and they sent out someone that said my unit needed a new capacitor, which is a $5 item...when I mentioned I was going to contact my home warranty people about a new system, I was told wouldn't you rather have a technician who knows what he's doing versus someone who won't care. The audacity to think that my home warranty company was going to send an unqualified technician! This company is more interested in selling me a new unit, than fixing what is broken. During the $69 maintenance special, they didn't even clean either the inside unit, or the outside unit. So what did I pay for? Someone to get $17,000 from me! I will never use this company again; and, I am warning all my friends against using them.
They did make the situation right. Thank you. I was mislead when sign up for their yearly service. I was told The Yes Man would be able to warranty my HVAC unit if something went wrong. He specially told me that I would have to pay for the labor and the parts would be cover under warranty usually. I had confidence the way the service plan was sold this was the truth. However, today the compressor went out. Another tech came out replaced the unit. I asked about the warranty process, and he avoid the answer. I then told him what the person told me, and he literally said I must have misunderstood him. I did loss my cool on him. I am pretty tired of being lied to by people you are professionals. One of two people lied here. The first person that sold me the service plan, or the dude that just repaired it. I can make assumptions, but in the end the answer is be careful of the path people lead you down. I still am not clear if Yes can handle the actual manufactures warranty or they just said that. The reason is because the repairing tech literally said it would be on the part that would be covered anyways. Again, I lost my cool on him because someone is not telling the truth here and I apologize for that, but if this an OK practice at Yes. It should be changed. After going on the Goodman website and verifying my unit. It does have a 10 year parts warranty. I do expect back a refund for that part under the warranty. Please don't ask me to call you. I have called and left a message and you have my information. A BBB complaint is to follow.
home owner called me because Yes! Air Conditioning and Plumbing did not show up for the appointment today between 12pm-2pm. I called Yes! Air Conditioning and Plumbing and they said the reason they didn't show up was because the water heater hadn't arrived from Lowe's, but never called me or the home owner to update us. They said they will call the home owner once the water heater arrives. The home owner gave them a call too, to inquire when the water heater would arrive if not today, and they told her to call Lowe's to check when she does not have an order number as she did not purchase the water heater, Yes! Air Conditioning and Plumbing did. I had made payment for the water heater and install last week on Wednesday and when i called today they asked for a deposit when i had stated I had already made payment with a credit card over the phone last week. Never received an invoice when i asked the gentleman who took my call and my payment to send one over, and I gave him my email.
